January's Events!

Happy Thursday everyone!  We are rounding the corner into the end of the week and I am so excited for the first weekend of the year.  I got my December Daily and vacation photos ordered from Persnickety and I am hoping to maybe do a little work in my album this weekend.

Please remember that all of these events are planned, but plans change and we appreciate your flexibility!

If you are ready to scrap now, we have tons of things going on at the store - including an ADORABLE mini-album featuring Freezin' Season by Simple Stories today!  Online registration is closed, but if you are dying to get, you can call the store to see if there are a few more seats.

Okay, onto the other goodies for the month!

January 5

It is my favorite day of the month - CROP DAY!  Join us for a fabulous day of crafting, cropping, and a little bit of girl time.  If you resolved to be more creative, indulge in a little self-care, or have some time to yourself-  this is my favorite way to do it!  Leave all the work at home and spend a little time being one with your paper!  Chocolate and Netflix provided!  Get your spot right here!

January 10

You guys, this class is so darn cute!  Margaret is bringing the magic - and a little bit of Pinterest - right to you with this snowman trio!  In class, you will create these adorable little winter figures from start to finish.  Grab your seat for this class right here!  Margaret is also offering this class again, later in the month - on January 19th!  Saturday class registration is right here.

January 12

Another busy Saturday here! We are kicking off our day with a delightful Make and Take with Margaret.  It is open to anyone - ages 12 and up - and we are going to create this adorable snowman banner.  Our Make and Takes are totally free, just give yourself a little time to get signed in and complete the project.  Plus, attend 5 and get free money for crafting!

And, then, don't forget to join Missy as she continues the Bible Journaling series!  This month's theme is the God of Seasons and these are gorgeous!  This month, we will do a little journaling with Echo Park's winter line Celebrate Winter, as well as distress crayons AND a product called Shimmery Goodness.  Yes please!  Grab your spot in Bible Journaling right here!

January 19
Another Saturday jam-packed with all the goodies! We will start our morning off with a little bit of Inky Chicks!

Our Inky Chicks are the queens of all things mixed media!  Each month, they use a new product or a technique and we are starting the year off with a little bit of show and tell!  Using inspiration sticks, we are sharing our favorite techniques, tips and tricks.  Get your spot in Inky Chicks right here!

After Inky Chicks, we have our second Pinterest snowman trio class!  You can register for this adorable-ness right here!

And, this is a brand new workshop time!  Join Margaret to get your wood crafts finished!  Got a half-done project lurking in the closet?  Need a little time to finish up your HOME series from last year?  Join us for an open workshop time.  There won't be any structured instruction, but a little time to get your projects finished!  And, if you let us know what you are working on at registration, we can try to have paint ready too!  Register for your spot right here!

January 22

Ready to get your 2019 album started right?  Join us for Scrap Club!  We will be crafting SIX adorable layouts with the Simple Stories line, Freezin' Season.  Sara will lead our scrap club to get started on your album of the year!  Can't make class, but want to make the pages?  We offer kits to complete the projects too!  Register for Scrap Club here - and don't wait too long - these spots go fast!

January 24

Get ready for the season of love with this delightful stack of homemade cards!  Using the line Kissing Booth by Simple Stories, we will create 8(!!) cards just for all the loves in your life!  These beautiful cards are perfect for anyone!  Grab your seat at noon or 6pm right here!

While that is the end of January events, I have a few others I want to tack on at the end!  Don't forget to pay your balance for the February crop.  We have a very long list of people who would love to come, so if you can't make it, we will miss you, but let us know ASAP!  We are in the midst of a planning flurry for the retreat - with classes and make and takes and lots of fun and games!  We can't wait to share the weekend with you.

And, last, but certainly not least, hand lettering classes are making their way back to the store!  I will have a beginner hand lettering class during the February retreat for those attending the retreat.  And, if you are not going on the retreat, I will also have a late Sunday afternoon class at 3pm.  I don't have a registration link yet, but I will pass it along once I have it.  Go ahead and mark those calendars!

Now, go get crafty (and have a very crafty January!)
