More New Lines!

Happy Thursday!

I really thought today was Friday,  Like, my husband had to correct me before he left for work this morning.  I don't even know what that means for today, but I am super excited to share some brand new arrivals from Bella Blvd that are in the store RIGHT NOW!

This perfect summer line is called Splash Zone, and as expected, it includes all the things you would expect for a super wonderful summer line!  There are sunshines, leaves, and waves - perfect for trips to the lake, beach, or water park this summer.

And, it is so new, that Bella Blvd's creative team only has one layout with it's release on their blog - and y'all it is cute!  I think it pairs nicely with yesterday's post about cut files too!
I love all those blues and greens paired together with the pops of red!  You can grab all of this summer goodness in the store today - or call and have it held for you!

Easter Scrapbook Inspiration!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I know that we are all ready to scrapbook those pictures from this past weekend - right?  I wanted to share some super cute layouts and cutfiles with you all to snag for some Easter (and spring) inspiration!

I love the fringe on the little eggs!  Plus, I always forget, but these cut files are super cute.  Cut files are a super easy way to personalize and "fancy up" a page with the basic cardstocks you have sitting in your stash!
There are tons of free cut files floating around online and, of course, you can purchase them too for just a dollar or two!  Do you all have any go to places to grab cut files to use on cards and layouts?

So Many Classes!

Happy Tuesday!

Y'all!  We have so many classes this week and you are not going to want to miss them!

Today, we have Scrap Club AND Bible Journaling!  Scrap Club features the adorable line from Carta Bella called Spring Market.  It has all the most popular prints, adorable florals, and really cute blue trucks!
Bible Journaling is looking at floral backgrounds and using Colorburst inks to create beautiful pages!  Both of these classes have closed their online registration, but call the store to snag a spot.

Tomorrow is our very first ever Lawn Fawn Technique Class!  Jessica Walters is teaching you everything you needed to know (and then some) about Lawn Fawn's Double Slider Surprise!  You will make this super cute card that is perfect for any spring or summer occasion.

I think my favorite thing about this class is that you get to learn and use the fancy dies (and stamps too) from Lawn Fawn before making an investment.  I hate buying a tool and then not liking it or wanting to throw it out the window because I can't figure it out!  This is a great way to learn all the things first!  And, if you do want to take a set home, they are 15% off for class attendees!  Jessica is a fabulous teacher (we used to teach middle school together!) and the most knowledgeable person I know about Lawn Fawn.  Grab your seat right here!

On Saturday, we have Inky Chicks AND Penny Black cards!  Inky Chicks are always creating and learning something new and this month is NO exception!  This month, they are taking a deep dive into all kinds of inks.  They will learn when and where and what to use to get specific looks and more.  I really feel like I need to take this class - inks are kind of a foreign territory for me!  Grab your seat in Inky Chicks right here!

These Penny Black Timeless cards are simply stunning!  They will be perfect for birthdays, weddings, Mother's Day cards, and more.  We will learn a new technique using Tombow Dual Brush markers to help color these flowers.  Snag your seat for Penny Black cards right here!

And, did you think we were done?  NOPE!  Sunday we are having open studio workshop time to create and work on woodcraft projects!  I love this class, because you can bring any project - at any stage of completion - to work on!  Dig those half-finished things (or the ones still in the wrapper) out of the closet and take a few interrupted hours to work on them.  This is a great way to get those lingering to-do's done!  Plus, if you tell us what you are working on at registration, we will make sure we have the correct paints for you!  Snag your spot right here!

Now, y'all go grab a seat in one of these amazing classes and come get crafty!

PS - This is totally an excuse to come check out those new lines in the store!!!!

Two Long Awaited Arrivals!

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend celebrating the holidays and glorious weather with friends and family!  It has flown by here and I am just not ready for Monday around here.  We decorated eggs, ate a lot, and had lots of laughs.  I wrote last week about our family egg decorating contest and I thought I would share our first place family finisher :)  This masterpiece is courtesy of my husband, Brad!

Okay... now onto the scrapbook news of the day!  I was over the moon to see that two lines that are on my wishlist have rolled into the store.  One I shared a LONG time ago and it has finally arrived!  Everyone come say hello to Wolfpack to Heidi Swapp!

If you are unfamiliar with this line, it is Heidi's beautiful tribute to her late son Cory and it has the most beautiful gray colors and imagery.

We have all the pieces and parts in stock NOW and if you put it in the order book, we have already pulled the line for you.  Everyone else can hustle in OR call us to pull the lines for you!

And, now, a slightly more sparkle-y line - Say hi to Sparkle City by one of my personal favorites - Shimelle!  This amazing American Crafts line is full of whimsy and magic.

The graphics on the papers are always so fun - and I find that I can use them for everyday scrapping and special occasions too!  Again, if you requested this awesomeness in the order book, it has already been pulled for you.

We can't wait for you to stop by and see all the new things!

Happy Holidays!

Happy Friday everyone!

We will keep this short and sweet today!  I want to wish each and everyone one of you a delightful weekend - whether you are celebrating Easter or Passover or just beautiful weather - that is full of love and memories!

I hope that you meals come together easily and that your company is on their best behavior :)  If you need an anyone-friendly activity, I highly recommend coloring sheets.  They are great to have to pass out to kids and grown ups alike to kill a few minutes or settle the chocolate based enthusiasm!

These are some of my favorite websites to download and grab coloring sheets for big kids and little kids too!

Easter Eggs!

Hey everyone!

We have almost made it to Easter weekend!  I am so ready to get to the weekend - today is a preschool egg hunt and a treat to take to school for my little one and company arrives tomorrow!  I know I have said it before, but Easter is my most favorite holiday.  I love everything about it - the food, the meaning, the celebration, the new outfits, the traditions.

My favorite tradition is decorating Easter eggs.  And, if you expected anything less, we have a very competitive family with an extremely competitive egg decorating contest.  There are very strict rules, contest entry requirements, and one year, we had a voting scandal (seriously, we did).  A quick overview, everyone gets the same kit - you can use anything in the kit and a black sharpie; no other supplies are permitted.  You must submit a picture to my dad by 6pm on Saturday, a voting ballot is sent in and you get two votes for any eggs.  Votes are due by noon on Sunday and a winner is announced.  It is highly competitive and a great honor to win - it took 10 years for my husband to win... He might still be a touch bitter.

But, if you aren't into competitive and highly regulated egg decorating, here are some awesome techniques I found on Pinterest to decorate your eggs!

Who doesn't love Rae Dunn?

Napkins and Gesso!  WHAT!

Scrapbook paper and fabric scraps

Rubber Cement!!!

You could do this with vinyl cutouts or masking fluid!

Cool Whip

Rice and food coloring!

I love that most of these techniques use things you probably already have lurking around your house.  Repurposing materials is so awesome and I love getting to use my stash in ways to celebrate all kinds of family memories.  OH!  And how about an awesome scrapbook page about your egg created wtih a corresponding piece of paper.  YES PLEASE!

We would love to see your Easter eggs!  Share them with us on Facebook or Instagram!

Pebbles Circus!

Happy Wednesday!

You guys!  I was so excited to see that this line is headed to the store!  Before we get started, I will fully disclose, I am not typically one for Circus lines.  I don't really love the circus and I usually think they look goofy... but this line is giving me all the heart eyes!

Just check out some of these images!

I love the script they chose for their thickers and those banners are awesome!  I think the graphics they have chosen to could definitely double for the fair and school fundraisers too, which makes this paper line even more versatile!

It could also definitely be used for a kid who was super into the Greatest Showman - or to make some Greatest Showman Halloween pages!!!

This line is shipping really soon - I don't have a date that it will be in the store, but if you are hankering to get your hands on this line, go ahead and call the store and put your requests in the order book.  Then, when it arrives, we will drop it in your box!

Who has a favorite sticker or ephemera from this set?
