Beautiful Holiday Envelopes!

Happy Thursday!

We are almost to the weekend! I don't know about you all, but one of my goals for the weekend is to get my Christmas cards addressed and sent out.  It may be lofty thinking, but that is the plan!

I wanted to share some of my favorite envelopes that I have found while searching on Pinterest!  You always want to make sure that your address is readable - especially the zip code!  I am sharing these because they do not require any hand lettering skills, just a few quick lines or doodles on your envelope!

Plus,  I have two super cute envelope video tutorials on Youtube that walk you through adding a little something extra to your envelopes!

I can't wait to see your Christmas card envelopes this year!  Let's make those mailboxes really shine!

Tons of Tags!

Happy Wednesday!

We are marching closer and closer to Christmas and I am starting to get in the holiday mood!  We are going to get our tree tonight.  When the tree lands, it really feels like the holiday season to me!

I am also doing a craft night with the moms in my local MOPS group this week, so I did a quick search for some cute Christmas tags.  There were so many super cute, super simple tags I wanted to share them with you!  Most of these just have a piece or two and you could totally use scraps or stamps you already have!

How cute and simple are these?  I think they would really dress up any package.  I love to pair a homemade tag with kraft wrapping and then a little baker's twine.  You could use any stamp set you have and take this from a jumping point - or a little Christmas card inspiration!

This is also a great way to get your children involved in Christmas crafts/wrapping!  These simple tags are a great thing for littles to make and contribute to the holiday season!

Don't forget, only one week until we start our 12 Days of Christmas sales!

Happy Friday everyone!

I hope you all are ready for a super awesome weekend of kicking off the holiday spirit!  First things first around here, taking a sick pup to the vet, and then a taco themed birthday celebration!

But, if you are looking for some ways to celebrate the Christmas spirit, we have you covered at Scrappin' In The City!  First up.... Rustic Christmas Open House!

Grab a friend (or come make a new one!) with us as we complete 6 adorable, rustic holiday decorations!  They make great gifts for the people on your list, a secret Santa, or to add to your holiday decorations!  We still have a few seats available in the afternoon class and you can grab yours right here.

Can you believe it?  All those crafts in just a few hours!  It may be the most productive time you have this week!

And, then on Sunday, join me (!) to do a little hand lettering!  First up, we are learning all the basics at Beginner Hand Lettering!  Whether your handwriting is delightful or terrifying (mine is terrifying), you can learn the basics of beautiful modern calligraphy!  Grab a few brush pens and join us at the store on Sunday.  There are three spots left so don't miss out on yours!  Register for the class right here!  You can do this - you just need to learn a few techniques!

Then, after that, we are going to be getting very festive learning ten... and a few extra... ways to address your holiday cards using some lettering skills and some easy tricks.  Hand lettering experience is helpful, but not necessary to enjoy the class!  Plus, homemade Christmas treats and hot cocoa will be served!  Check out these adorable envelopes!

Scrapbook Inspiration!

Happy Thursday everyone!

I just rolled back into town after an extended Thanksgiving trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!  We had a wonderful time with family and then a delightful time as a family of three in Disney.  Now, however, I am trying to catch up with all the things.  And, I am looking forward to planning my vacation scrapbook!

So, I decided to do a little deep dive into Pinterest and found some adorable, scrapliftable layouts!  These are great layouts and sketches to have in your arsenal for the next time you get a moment to scrap!

I love the ones with tons of little die cuts.  I think it is a great way to use the end of a paper line, when you just have a handful of little stickers, die cuts, and pieces left!  Waste not, scrap more!
