Color Inspiration!

Happy Thursday everyone!

Today is rather dreary in my neck of the woods and I am looking for something perky and positive to cheer me up!  I wanted to share with you my new favorite way to grab some color inspiration for all kinds of projects - coloring, scrapbook, or a little copics blending!

Did you know that on Pinterest, you can find color palates based on some AMAZING images?  Check these beauties out!

First, I love these images - I may be indoorsy, but I love a good nature photo!  And, I love that the colors are already pulled from them to use on my own with my colored pencils or blend into my copics!

Plus, I think it reminds me of some unique color combinations that I sometimes forget about - it is really easy to fall into the pattern of using the same two or three colors all the time.  For me, this is evidenced by the fact that about 5 of my colored pencils are half the height of the rest of them!   I keep thinking about the last mustard and teal combination in some floral stamps and dies would be *stunning*!

You can find the specific colors by hex number by using a Hex Code finder website, if you have to have the exact specs too!

If you search for color inspiration or color palates on Pinterest, you will get TONS of goodies - including paint swatches for your favorite styles too.  I have at least one Magnolia-inspired farm house paint chip swatch saved on my Color Inspiration board, as well as my home decor board!  Plus, I find this to be some very relaxing pinning!

Now, go get crafty (and pin those palates!)

New Lawn Fawn Release

Happy Hump Day!
I have a little something special for you guys to get through this super rainy week!  You may have seen the announcement that Lawn Fawn is headed to the store with all their brand new releases... and today I am going to show you all the reasons that you need these new stamps and dies.

All of these pictures came from Lawn Fawn's blog - you can go check all the posts for yourself (and there are so many more samples!) over there!

So, here it is!  The Lawn Fawn inspiration picture dump :)

One of my favorite things about Lawn Fawn is how they are always adding new products (like the sliders and spinners) that can be used with your existing stamp collection.  And, I also love how they feature some of their older products, combined in with the new goodies in their release!

All the new product details are on their blog, but it should be in the store VERY SOON!  If there is something you are dying to get your paws on, go ahead and call the store and get it added to the order book!  You will get a phone call when it hits the store.  Plus, keep your eyes peeled on the Facebook page for the new arrivals!

PS - The new Echo Park and Carta Bella lines are in the store now!

Now, go get crafty!

Project Inspiration with Echo Park's Baby Line

Happy Friday!

If you missed it's arrival, this new Echo Park baby line (for boys and girls) has been FLYING off the shelves - and with super good reason why!  It is sweet for a new baby without being all pink or blue.  I love the print combinations!

And, I wanted to share some of these projects from Echo Park's Design team that they created with the line!  I am absolutely loving these layouts!  The frame on the boy layout is such a great design piece that can be used with a ton of different layouts.  Filing that idea away from my next crop time!

The stitching on the moon here is such a simple, but gorgeous element of this layout!  I love the sweet simplicity and the layering of the plaids!  This is totally another one to scraplift!

While I may not have a baby at home, I definitely need this adorable banner! Seriously, how cute are the animals and greenery!?!  How many sheets of paper do I need to make one to go the length of a queen bed?  (Plus, how much carpal tunnel from fussy cutting 100 sheets of paper?!?)

What do you all think?  You can grab all of these papers at the store RIGHT NOW and you can call and have it held for you if you can't make it in right away.

Now, go get crafty!
