Summer Fun Challenge!

 Happy Wednesday friends! 

I hope everyone is having a great week and staying cool!  We have been spending our time inside or at the pool for the last few days and I stumbled across something fun with my kids!  Our local branch of the library is doing an art contest for kids of all ages (no grown ups allowed :( ) and it has inspired me to try something new... or pick up a slightly forgotten hobby! 

I am no stranger to creative cross-training and I like to do different creative activities!  In addition to scrapbooking, I do calligraphy and hand lettering and I am a new embroider-er.  I love finding a summer challenge or using this time to find a fun new skill for me to learn!

I am grabbing my embroidery project that is halfway a third of the way done with the goal of getting it finished to put up in my classroom next year!  I got distracted doing a lot of sewing on scrapbook pages and fell out of the rhythm of having it nearby!
