Travelers Notebooks!

Happy Monday!

It was so good to see so many friendly faces this weekend at the crop and lettering classes!  I am a little less excited to be back to doing my regular Monday jobs after a really fun weekend - anyone else have a weekend hangover?

I am, however, really excited to share something we have at the City and I think you all will love! Traveler's notebooks have been all the rage lately and there are a couple of reasons why!  They are two piece set ups - a cover and little notebook inserts.  A cover usually carries several (4-5) inserts and they are really easily switched in and out.  That means you can make one for doctor's appointments and one for your Home Depot repair list and shopping log and switch them in and out, so you don't have to haul everything around!

The pages inside a traveler's notebook are usually either blank or lined and are waiting for you to decorate the inside!  This one is Sara's from CHA - she made at the show and left some ordering notes in!  It can be decorated with paper lines and embellishments (may I recommend the scraps of your favorite lines?!?) or just left blank for note-taking.  I have one that I took on our vacation and journaled in at the end of each day that just had blank pages.

There are some adorable inspirational images of traveler's journals on Instagram and Pinterest to get you started.  And, we are planning some new traveler's journal inspiration at the store - more details coming soon!  So grab yourself some inserts and a cover and get note-taking on your everyday adventure or next road trip!

Got something you love using your travelers notebook for?  Drop us a note in the comments or on Facebook and we would love to share it!

Now, go get crafty!
