Fun Friday!
Happy Friday friends!
Can you believe that it is the last Friday before Christmas!?! This year has totally flown by! We are almost done with our 12 Days of Stuff Your Stockings and it has been so fun! I love seeing all the new deals of the day and I hope that a few have made it into your stocking.
If you are looking for a fun stocking stuffer for almost any crafter, I have a few suggestions!
-Adhesive - we always use glue, popdots, gluedots, double sided tape
-Cutting mats - I don't even want to admit to the lack of stickiness on my mat at the moment
-Zipper totes or storage - this doesn't require an explanation!
-Fun, basic colored embellies from the rainbow wall - enamel dots, florals, shaker pieces - the basic color makes them so verstaile!
-A Scrappin' In The City Gift Card - the perfect size for everyone :)
I have also been looking forward to the week after Christmas where time seems to move really slowly and no one wears real pants or looks at the calendar! It is such a relief and a break from the busy schedule we keep before Christmas in my house! I love to have a low stakes project to work on - maybe something mindless to do in front of the tv, or finishing up something I started a retreat that I never made it back to.
This year, I am loving the Simple Stories calendar! It is the perfect way to prepare for 2025 in a crafty way! I love these kits at the store - they are so cute and easy to use! It comes with a calendar base that you can do a simple scrap on top of! There are *so many* stickers in the kit and I love the idea of cutting out a template for each month and adding some sticker flair on top!
We have an annual family photo calendar that a family member puts together and each month features photos from the previous years month (Feb 2024 is full of pictures from Feb 2023) and birthday months always spotlight the person in the family whose birthday it is! Your month is always pictures of you with other family members. My kids LOVE IT and are always so excited to see who is next when we turn the page!
Grabbing pictures is also such a fun way to reminisce on the year too!
You can grab a Calendar Kit at this link right here! We recommend grabbing some of your favorite cardstocks too to help with the photo frames and backing colors!
I can't wait to see what your calendars look like!
Now, go get crafty!
