30 Days of Coloring Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you guys had a great weekend!  We had a blast creating with Dina this weekend and I can't wait to share some pictures with you all.  Learning from our favorite creatives is an incredible opportunity and we are so glad to be able to host them here at the store!

Over the weekend, one of our favorite challenges kicked off!  The 30 Days of Coloring Challenge runs from June 15 to July 15.  Lots of challenge details can be found here, but this is one of my favorites for a few reasons!  First, no fancy supplies required - use markers, colored pencils, whatever!  Second, I love that she encourages making your own coloring sheets with patterns and stamps (gotta use that stash)!  Third, this is a super supportive group where you can link your own projects and coloring.

Kathy, the challenge host, also has a cheering squad of 12 ambassadors who are here to encourage all participants too!  It is super fun and she also has a blog post every day with coloring technique, encouragement, and sharing her works in progress.

In one of her posts, Kathy shared that she loves to color with her Tombow Dual Brush pens and Copic markers!  If you didn't know, we carry Tombow's in open stock (woot woot!) which means you can buy the colors individually, instead of in a 10 pack with the blender.  This is perfect if you are hunting down one specific color!  We also have Copic markers in the store (and replacement nibs for when you color toooo much)!  And, we also refill Copic markers too - and many colors while you wait!

We would love to see what you are coloring!  I am going to try to do a little recreational coloring this month!  My sister in law is a big colorer and I think she is going to participate too!  You can add us in your tag or send us the picture and we will feature some coloring on the blog!

Now, go get crafty!
Lesley
