Challenge Yourself Challenge!

Last week, we encourage our fearless scrappers to challenge themselves in a new way!  Camp Reset for planners, the Lawn Fawn challenges, and Shimelle's 30 Day Scrap challenge are all ways to stretch yourself creatively.  How have you all done?

I challenged my fellow City Chicks to create a card for the Lawn Fawn challenge and Jonna took me up on it!  She made this precious, perfect for summer, watermelon card!

Jonna told me all about her process!  Her card base is kraft paper with a piece of Cricut patterened paper.  Jonna used a piece of watercolor paper from Tim Holtz to color on.  She used the Tim Holtz Distress markers in Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry, and Hickory Smoke.  For the stamps, she used TWO Lawn Fawn sets - Happy Happy Happy stamp and die and Happy Summer stamp and die.  Jonna also colored that precious chunk of watermelon using her Prisma colored pencils in Rose and Apple Green!

Did anyone else make a card for the challenge?  We can't wait to see them!

I am linking this post up to the Lawn Fawn challenge here!  Be sure to check out some of the other amazing cards made by Lawn Fawn-atics!

Are you ready for next week's challenge?   I challenge you to make a 4th of July project - it could be a card, layout, or home decor project!  Share your project in the comments or tag us on social media!  You can always use the hashtag #citychicksscrapchallenge!  We can't wait to see your projects!

Now go get crafty!
