Ribbon Stash

I still love to see ribbon on page layouts. If you are still hoarding special ribbon look at the way Jennifer Gatewood and Amanda Hillard have used it on these three pages. Maybe this will inspire you to dig through your stash!

Not only is there a beautiful lacy ribbon along the edge, but the paper strips also give the look of ribbons. This is such a beautiful page! The yellows and black and white off set this priceless black and white photo so well. The papers Jennifer used are from the Basic Grey “Barista” line and  Authentique’s “Beauty” line. The ribbon came from our stash at the store!

This is another gorgeous layout from Jennifer Gatewood! I love the warmth that this whole page has. The ribbons layered at the top and the beautifully colored wood veneer leaves are perfect. This paper...couldn’t be more perfect! It’s Authentique “Nestled”. The embellishments are from Authentique and Simple Stories (Pumpkin Spice).

Who says you can’t use lace on a boy page? Not Amanda Hillard! Isn’t this lace so pretty on this very interesting page? It softens the geometric shaped banners and gives the photo a place to rest. It’s such a pretty combination! (Are you seeing these triangles? They are half covered with pieces of patterned paper. Love it!)

Did you get inspired to look through your stash? (Thumbs up)
