Taylored Expressions Maps!

Happy Friday friends!

This week really got away from me and I am looking forward to a bit of downtime this weekend!  I was perusing through the store this past week and I love the look of these Taylored Expressions Page Maps.  I absolutely love a bold, graphic pattern and some straight lines.... but I also have no idea how to use them!  So, today, I present to you: a Page Maps deep dive!

Each set of Page Maps is a packet of thin papers that work as a guide for you to create on a card!  I love that you don't have to recreate angles or setups... it's just right here on the card.  The layouts can be simple or very intricate and match with corresponding dies, so no hand cutting each strip or shape is needed!

After you select your pattern and paper, you create your die cuts and glue them down on the mat and then you add the mat to the front of a card base!  It really is that simple and easy to do.  I love these types of activities, especially when I am feeling stuck - something about the simple colors and following directions ignites an idea in my brain!

I am also sharing two videos that are pretty short that walk you through the process as well!  The first is a how-to on creating the Page Maps.  The first part of the video is color swatching - another one of my favorite things:)

This second video is showing another way to use your Page Maps and doing a bit of pattern bootlegging!

You can shop for all of our Taylored Expression at this link right here!  If you are ready to take on a Page Maps set, you can find all of those right here!

I love how versatile these cards are.  Changing the colors really makes them all feel different and unique and can really adapt to the sentiment you add!

Now, go get crafty!
