New Product Alert!
Happy Wednesday everyone!
I was in the store yesterday and I am saw these cool things for the first time! Margaret pointed them out to me and I think you guys are going to love them! We have new 3-D molds for making your own accent pieces for mixed media projects, cards, decor pieces, and more!
We currently have four sets in the store and they look and feel like a silicone baking mold! Soft and squishy and easy to turn out. You can fill the molds with different materials, depending on what you have on hand and what you are hoping to do with them! Margaret recommended a resin or air dry clay/putty (which we have in stock)! She also told me that you can use HOT GLUE to fill them up! I mean, I have *so many* hot glue sticks, this may be the only way they get used! Once they are dried, cooled, or hardened, you can take them out and paint or color them. I just think these are going to be the coolest new accent pieces and can be so versatile, depending on the material you make them out of!
The other tidbit I learned - don't use wax! It's too brittle and will break on you. (Thank you Margaret for the crash lesson in molds!)
This is another image of the Stamperia set alongside what the finished pieces look like!
The sets from Re-Design are a knobs set, a regal trinket set with bugs, seals, and crowns, and the last set are long trimmings! They are so fun and such a different way to create your own textures!
I hope you love them and I can't wait to see what everyone creates with them! The Stamperia set is online now, but the rest you will need to call the store for or swing by when you get a chance!
Now, go get crafty!
