Spotlight on Mixed Media Supplies with Jeannette Kraehmer

Jeannette is a very prolific scrapper and she has many layouts hanging in the store.  She is very eager to learn techniques and try out new materials.  This week she used gesso to complete and add Viva Glitter Paste to her project.

“I like using gesso on chipboard because it makes painting with glitter paste much easier.”  Gesso is a primer that artists use as a primer for porous surfaces like canvas, wood, paper and chipboard.  When you apply paint or glitter, it not only goes on easier but you get better coverage.  In other words, using gesso is a timesaver in the long run.

Here are a few of Jeanette’s projects, and be sure to visit her store Pinterest Board to see all her special touches.
