Tim's New Trimmer!

 Happy Monday everyone! 

I hope that you all had a great weekend!  Last week, our friends over at Tonic Studios released a brand-new, long awaited new product - Tim Holtz's Rotary Trimmer!  This new reimagining of a favorite must-have tool is going to be a favorite of yours too!  I want to share some highlights of the new trimmer and a few videos so that you can get a feel for it too!

This trimmer has a ton of familiar features - a 1/4 inch grid to help ensure that your paper isl lined up neatly for straight lines, a ruler in both standard AND metric, and a pressure guard to help keep your material from wiggling and your fingertips safe.  

I am kind of a nerd about the ruler part of trimmers.  Both sides of the trimmer have a ruler and a pull out section to line up paper - woohoo for the lefties in the crowd.  This is a both-handed trimmer!  The Tim Holtz trimmer also has a ruler in the middle which will be great to ensure straight lines. 

I love that this trimmer has a heavier duty blade that can more easily cut through cardstock, cardboards, and other papers like Yupo that can be challenging with other trimmers.  Also, the cutting house has a soft Kush coating to make it easier to add pressure.  Plus, this new trimmer comes with a back up blade as well!
