January Classes

 Happy 2023! 

I hope everyone had a beautiful holiday season and a happy new year!  I have resolved to do a little more creating for fun this year!

We are already off to a busy start this year, so grab those planners to make a little time for yourself this month!

January 3, 10, 17

We are so excited to kick off our new year with a brand new series!  Our Bible Journaling gals are hosting a three week long creative Bible Study!  It will meet these three Tuesday nights via Zoom.  There is just one giant kit for the class.  Grab a seat right here!

January 13

We are so excited for Stamp A Stack!  This month is scheduled a bit early this month because of the Yard Sale!  We will be featuring basic embossing techniques this month with cards themed with Love You, Miss You, and My Crafty Friend.  At the end of class, you will have 12 cards total, four of each design.  Kits with video instructions are also available!  Be sure to snag your stack right here!

January 14

I am so excited about this new class series with Margaret!  We will be deep diving and learning how to use some of the coolest things in the store that you may have shied away from in the past!  This month in Creative Focus, you will learn all things layered stencils.  They seem *so* overwhelming, but Margaret will walk us through how to do it and show use that it isn't so scary!  Grab your spot in class here!

In the afternoon, we are so excited to have City Chick and Design Team Ambassador Jennifer Gatewood leading a class on this super cute Mitten Album!  I love a mini-album and this one has so many textures and techniques included.  You have to follow the link to see all the adorable pictures of this project.  See the pictures and get a seat right here!

January 17

Michelle is welcoming in the new year with this precious Copics class!  The class kit includes a stamp set from new-to-us stamp company Colorado Craft Company.  You will learn tons of techniques and finish the class with a completed card!  Michelle does recommend taking Intro to Copics first, but after that, come join in the fun!  Get your seat right here!

January 19

Come join ME for a little bit of lettering!  I will be teaching Beginner Hand Lettering via Zoom!  We will learn the art of brush lettering and I promise, anyone can do it!  You will learn everything you need to know, from how to hold your pens to working through the alphabet and writing words by the end of class!  It is fun to learn and will look so fancy on all those Stamp A Stack cards!  Snag a seat for Hand Lettering right here!

It's Yard Sale time!  It's time to clean out those closets and come hunt for deals and steals!  We love our Yard Sale because you never know what you will find!  Drop offs are due between before the 20th, so please be sure to carefully read your consignors paperwork!  We will have presales, as well as half-price days at the end!  To get more information about the sale, click here or drop by the store to get registered!

It's Scrap Club time!  We love this monthly tradition!  You will make 6 layouts that are ready for pictures and to drop into an album.  This month, we are featuring the line The Simple Life from Simple Stories.  Because of the yard sale and the Semi-Annual Sale, this class will be by KIT ONLY this month!  Grab your kit right here!

January 28

Rebecca is back with a brand new Painting with the City Chicks class!  We will be making this adorable painted mixed media lady to inspire creativity all year long.  This class will be offered via Zoom and in person at the same time.  Register for the IN PERSON class at this link.  Register for the ZOOM class at this link!
