It's Back!

 Happy Wednesday friends!

I have some super exciting news to share with you all!  If you haven't heard yet, we are bringing back one of our most favorite events of all time - THE YARD SALE!  Because of COVID, we have missed the last three scheduled sales, so we are super super excited to be hosting a huge one!

I am guessing this will be our largest event yet, in both items being sold and shoppers!  Plus, this event will take a whole 5 days instead of just the usual two!

I am telling you now, so you can start going through your goodies to put together your yard sale offerings!  If you are a first time yard saler, here are the basics:

1) Register at the store to get your tickets and your consignor number.  (If you have consigned with us in the past, your number is the same.) Every consignor must register and pay the registration fee to participate this year!!!  The fee is $10 and comes with 50 tickets.  More tickets are available for purchase at $3 for 50 tags.

2) Sort through your stuff! If you are packing for a retreat, this is a great time to gather anything you don't need and set it to the side!  (I usually keep a bag in my scrap space and anytime I see something I don't want or need anymore, I toss it in there, so I have an always accruing stash for the yard sale!)

3) Label, label, and label!  Use the given tags, no other items will be accepted.  On each tag half of the tag, please include your vendor number, brief description (think SS paper or Thickers), and a price.  These are what we use to calculate your sales at the end, so make sure it is legible!

- On a side note, it is great to pack things in bags.  Ziplock bags and class bags are great to use to collect like things you are selling together.  Loose items are hard to label.  If labels fall off items, we can't really tell what is what!  (Class bags are my favorite for reselling paper lines and are availabe for purchase at the store!)

4) Drop off at the store!  Stay tuned for official drop off days!  Please be aware that we can only take drop offs during this time.  You should see how many things we get and if we took them for a long time, it would over run the store!  If you can't make drop off, pair up with a buddy to do drop off!

5) Prepare to shop! This is our amazing shopping schedule for the 5 day event!

Consignor's Pre-Sale:  Thursday  Sep. 23rd  12:00pm-4:00pm

Monday Sep. 27th 10:00am - 4:00pm

Afterwards, you will need to pick up anything that doesn't sell along with your earnings!  We can also donate anything you don't want to a Senior Assisted Living Facility!

If you are a first timer, it seems like a ton of work, but I promise, it is worth it!  It is a great way to clear out anything you don't want and there is always something fun to find!

Now, go get crafty (and start going through that stash!)
