January's Events!
Happy Thursday everyone! We are rounding the corner into the end of the week and I am so excited for the first weekend of the year. I got my December Daily and vacation photos ordered from Persnickety and I am hoping to maybe do a little work in my album this weekend.
Please remember that all of these events are planned, but plans change and we appreciate your flexibility!
If you are ready to scrap now, we have tons of things going on at the store - including an ADORABLE mini-album featuring Freezin' Season by Simple Stories today! Online registration is closed, but if you are dying to get, you can call the store to see if there are a few more seats.
Okay, onto the other goodies for the month!
It is my favorite day of the month - CROP DAY! Join us for a fabulous day of crafting, cropping, and a little bit of girl time. If you resolved to be more creative, indulge in a little self-care, or have some time to yourself- this is my favorite way to do it! You guys, this class is so darn cute! Margaret is bringing the magic - and a little bit of Pinterest - right to you with this snowman trio! In class, you will create these adorable little winter figures from start to finish. Grab your seat for this class right here! Another busy Saturday here! We are kicking off our day with a delightful Make and Take with Margaret. It is open to anyone - ages 12 and up - and we are going to create this adorable snowman banner. Our Make and Takes are totally free, just give yourself a little time to get signed in and complete the project. Plus,attend 5 and get free money for crafting!
And, then, don't forget to join Missy as she continues the Bible Journaling series! This month's theme is the God of Seasons and these are gorgeous! This month, we will do a little journaling with Echo Park's winter line Celebrate Winter, as well as distress crayons AND a product called Shimmery Goodness. Yes please! Our Inky Chicks are the queens of all things mixed media! Each month, they use a new product or a technique and we are starting the year off with a little bit of show and tell! Join us for an open workshop time. There won't be any structured instruction, but a little time to get your projects finished! While that is the end of January events, I have a few others I want to tack on at the end! Don't forget to pay your balance for the February crop. We have a very long list of people who would love to come, so if you can't make it, we will miss you, but let us know ASAP! We are in the midst of a planning flurry for the retreat - with classes and make and takes and lots of fun and games! We can't wait to share the weekend with you.
And, last, but certainly not least, hand lettering classes are making their way back to the store! I will have a beginner hand lettering class during the February retreat for those attending the retreat. And, if you are not going on the retreat, I will also have a late Sunday afternoon class at 3pm. I don't have a registration link yet, but I will pass it along once I have it. Go ahead and mark those calendars!
