Almost August...
Y'all! We are halfway through July and I feel like this month is FLYING by! This month is jam packed with all kinds of wonderful things - like Scrapbook Expo and Ken Oliver and a viewing party for a crafting tv show with my favorite Amy Poehler!
If you haven't heard - Making It is a competition where cute crafters make all sorts of goodies! It is hosted by Parks and Rec buddies Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. He is a real live wood worker and loves doing crafts. Swoon... It is at 8pm on July, 31st! Register for the watching party here!
But, once we get to August, you need to mark your calendar for these goodies!
August 5: Beginner Hand Lettering
August 5: Chalk Lettering
August 17-18: Yard Sale!
I am so excited to be back with two lettering classes! In beginner hand lettering, we will learn all the tips and tricks to become a hand letterer with a brush pen! From holding the pen to your basic pen strokes, we will learn how to make beautiful hand lettered pieces. I promise that anyone can do it with just a few minutes of practice a day! You can register for class at this link right here. I can't wait to see you in class!
And, a little later in the afternoon, we will be learning a little chalk lettering too! You do not have to have any hand lettering experience to love doing chalk lettering! We focus on the techniques to make your chalk look awesome (and a little bit of lettering)! If you make a seasonal chalk board or a first day of school board for your kids - this is a great class to take to get lots of tips and tricks to make your boards look super swoon worthy! This class has ALL its materials provided, so all you have to bring is yourself! You will take home a bag of goodies with chalk, erasers, tools, AND a chalk board!

And, last but certainly not least - the yard sale is coming soon! We will be hosting our almost-world-famous yard sale! If you have never shopped or sold at our Yard Sale, it is amazing. We have all the guidelines available at the store, but it boils down to this.... Bag your items and tag it with your consignment tag on our tags. Then, drop them off at the store! Come back in two weeks for your leftovers (or have them donated!) and your store money for new product. This is just in time for all those new releases to start rolling in! You will need to register in store to get your tags, but you can get more information right here!
And, I didn't want to leave him out - Ken Oliver will be here the last week in July! Don't miss out on your chance to take a class with a color wizard.
