Lettering Classes!
Happy Friday everybody!
I hope everyone is gearing up for an excellent weekend! We have lots on our to do list for the weekend and to spend time together as a family.
I am super excited to be preparing for more Lettering Classes at Scrappin' In the City! I have TWO classes going on next weekend :)
First up, beginner's hand lettering on Friday, June 22. We will learn all the basics of the hottest new trend and how to get started. I will teach you everything from how to hold the pen to creating an upper and lower alphabet and putting together words. Even if you handwriting is terrible (and mine is), you can letter - I PROMISE! This is a great class for anyone who wants to give it a whirl and is great for anyone age 9 and up! There is one more seat available and you can snag it right here!
And, then on Saturday morning, we will be back at the store at 10:30 for some chalk lettering! Chalk is a brand new trend that is perfect for creating your own seasonal decor pieces and awesome lettering works. In class, we will work through a ton of tips and tricks and create a hand lettered piece to take home with you! In addition to the chalk board, you will get a huge bag of erasers, chalk, and other chalk lettering essentials! This is a great class for kids and adults and feel free to bring your teens and tweens with you. You do not have to have any experience hand lettering to enjoy this class! And it may even inspire you to hang a giant chalkboard in your house (... I may be speaking from experience...) There are SIX spots left in this class and the class fee includes ALL the materials so all you have to bring is your happy smiling face! Register for chalk lettering right here!
This chalkboard is hanging in my foyer and I love changing it all the time - it needs an update this weekend!
