Last Minute Father's Day Gift!

Anyone else still need a Father's Day gift?  I wanted to share the details of this super cute project Sara helped her brother make for Mother's Day!  Sara created it in just under 25 minutes, so this is totally doable for anyone!

This is a waterfall style ticket book created with the things we have in our basic toolbox!  So, grab a few sheets of paper, a stapler, scissors, adhesive, and a handful of embellies and we can get started!  Sara also use the Tonic perforator tool, but you can skip this part.

Your first step is to cut all your papers to a----- size and run a perforator down the sides so that the tickets are easy to pull out of the books.  Then, on each page, add a little bit of embellishment (like these  free cut files from Photoplay)!  You can add a square of a plain paper or vellum over top to use as your writing surface.

Then decorate the front cover to make it just perfect!

On each page, jot down a simple something for dad!  Here are a few suggestions that we have to add into page.  These are all about the gift of time and that is one of our favorite ways to celebrate Dad!

Once you are done, we want to see your finished products!  Add your card in the comments below, tag us on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #citychicksscrapchallenge.  This week's challenge is to make a Father's Day card, so share your finished goodies!

Now go get crafty!
