Organize Your Mementos!

I hope you had a great weekend and stayed safe in the weather!  I am working on cleaning up my craft room before we have company coming this weekend and I am always shocked at how big my mess is before it gets tidied!  

One thing I always have a huge pile of is mementos from trips or events I want to save and I just don't have a good system for it!  But, we have a fun product at the store that is perfect for saving and organizing, before something goes in the album.  

The Organized Option (previously Totally Tiffany) makes Fancy Folios!  The folios come in three different sizes, 6x6, 8.5x11, and 12x12, and are perfect for pre-project organizing.  They have pockets and folders for mementos, flyers, and postcards - all the things you might want to save for your scrapbook.  Below is the layout for the 8.5x11 size (it is actually a bit bigger).  You can see where ticket stubs and more will fit right in without squishing or getting lost.  

You can also use it to organize a scrapbook line! Look how organized and easy to find all those embellishments are! 

I also think this would be great to use to prep an project album.  You could grab any specialty embellies - like diecuts from Cathy Kane, brads, or enamel dots!  This could be an easy way to sort out any December Daily or Junk Journal pieces to have ready to go.  

I am thinking about grabbing a few to have one per year on my work table.  Whenever we come home with a memento, invitation, or piece of memorabilia, I'll drop it in and then when I get to that year to scrapbook, they are all in one place.
