Yard Sale Weekend!
Happy Friday everyone!
I can't believe that the weekend is here! It's Yard Sale Time! It feels like the perfect spring weekend to do a little shopping and this is the best yard sale in town!
Tonight, we open up for our consigners today at 2pm and can't wait to see all of you. But, before you head out, new or experienced consigners and shoppers, I wanted to share a few yard sale shopping tips. I am always amazed at the amount of material that we have and it can be really overwhelming to shop at first.
1) Plan for some time! There is a lot in the store and we typically have a crowd. The shopping is a little slower, as is check out, so don't come in a rush!
2) Start smart! What are you looking for? Papers, stamps, tools? Start there when you have the most energy and freshest eyes!
3) If you want it, take it! We don't do holds for the yard sale, in fairness to all of our consigners. So, if you want it, grab it.
4) Shop with a buddy! The only thing more fun than shopping for yourself is shopping with a friend. My yard sale buddy was always able to find the most incredible pieces for me - I think she is just a better yard saler than me!
5) Come back! Shop today or Saturday, and come back for the half price day. Not just for the deals, but by then, some of what we have has thinned out and it is easier to see everything. You never know what is lurking in the boxes and on the tables!
Also, friendly reminder that Persnickety Prints is having their sale and if you aren't ready to order pictures, you can grab print credits to use at a later date. They can be found on their website under the "Prepaid Plans" link at the top of the page. This sale is on all 4x6 and smaller prints - including 3x4's, 4x4's, and more.
Now, go get crafty and we will see you at the Yard Sale!
