Oh My Guest Instructor!
Happy Monday everyone!
I have some super exciting news to share with you all and I am bursting at the seams! We are so thrilled to be hosting another mixed media legend this June 14-15th. The queen of the Scribble Sticks will be headed to Scrappin' in the City and we can't wait to welcome Dina Wakley!
She will be here in mid-June so mark your calendars and save your pennies to take one (or more) of her FOUR classes at the store! Class registration opens THIS FRIDAY at 10am, but I can go ahead and share what the classes are now! You can find all the information at this link right here, if you want to read more information.
Each of her classes lasts three hours (a whole lot of learning time!) and Dina provides the majority of your supplies for the class. Of course, we will have lots of Dina's products in the store when you fall in love with them during class that you will have the chance to purchase afterwards. Dina wants you to bring a basic tool kit to classes - scissors, craft sheets, baby wipes and paper towels, palates and art journals. Nothing super crazy or expensive - which is really nice!

Friday morning - Playful Printmaking
We will explore and play with mixed media techniques and create several journal pages. We will also incorporate some print making skills in the class too! This class is $75.
Friday afternoon - Joy of Scribbling and Coloring
Who doesn't love coloring? We will be using Scribble sticks to color backgrounds, as well as coloring images and drawing. This class is $75.
Saturday morning - Finding Joy in Abstraction
This class is giving me a ton of heart eyes! I LOVE these pieces of art and this class is going to be amazing! Dina will teach all the basics of making abstract awesome, like color theory and composition. We will make some practice boards, as well as creating a final canvas. These pieces can be a stand alone work or an amazing background! This class is $80.
Saturday afternoon - Abstract Flower Making
Dina will share her new found love of painting flowers with you all! We will learn several different types of flowers as well as creating some journal pages and paintings (number of pages is time dependent)! This class is $75.
Who is super excited about this?!? I can't wait and I love the magic that guest instructors bring to our store. Class registration opens at 10am on Friday and we do have a few guidelines for our guest instructors.
- Class must be paid in full at time of registration (no account holds)
- No refunds for classes, unless we can fill your seat in the class
- No discounts for Dina's classes
- If you miss the first 15 spots, we do have a waitlist for each of the classes
