Lettering Classes!
I promised I would let you know about lettering classes when they got officially scheduled! So, grab your pencils and your planners ladies, because October 13 is about to blow your mind! This may be the busiest day we have had in a really long time! Our poor web calendar is stretched as far as it will go!
First up, it is make and take day with City Chick Margaret. Make and takes go from 10-2 and make sure you leave plenty of time to wait for your turn and complete the project!
Also at 10 am, Missy is hosting another amazing Bible Journaling workshop! This is her monthly series and this month is all about balancing the circus of life! Seriously, these workshops are AMAZING and you will not be disappointed! You can register for this awesome class right here!
And in the afternoon, we will letter! At 2:30 pm, I will be teaching lettering at the store! The first class is Bounce and Serif and this is a class for those who have some lettering experience. We will be learning two brand new fonts and creating a little framed art piece to take home at the end of class. I have people ask all the time if they are ready to take the class and my rule of thumb is, if you can make a letter with consistent upstrokes and downstrokes you are ready! You want to be driving your pen and not your pen driving you! Sign up for bounce and serif class right here!
Then, at 4:45, we will be doing a little live sermon note taking! Learn tons of tips and tricks for creating beautiful hand lettered notes. We will be practicing with a sermon, but these skills can be applied to any kind of lettering. This class is about an hour and 15 minutes long and you will leave with a ton of information to take with you! You can take this class with or without hand lettering experience.
